Blum & Poe is pleased to participate in the inaugural edition of Gallery Weekend Los Angeles, organized by Gallery Association Los Angeles (GALA)—running from July 28 to August 1, 2021.

Nidos y Nudos: Films Curated by Pia Camil

Pia Camil curates a day of film screenings on the occasion of her exhibition Nidos y Nudos at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles, exploring notions of collective intelligence, the building of symbiotic architectures, and the concept of the nest.

Curators Mika Yoshitake and Kris Kuramitsu join in conversation on the occasion of Yukinori Yanagi's current exhibition at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles, which explores contested boundaries and the limits of politically and ideologically constructed territories, symbols, and national myths.

 

TOPICA PICTUS / La Cienega: Artist Reading Circle and Zine Release

A circle of artists, thinkers, and writers whose respective practices investigate the territories where art and art history, perception, memory, and the conceptual and the experiential converge, read prose and poetry from Kenjirō Okazaki's zines published in concert with his exhibition TOPICA PICTUS / La Cienega in the Garden Gallery at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles. Free zines, and light refreshments served.
