En/trance Series: Yoshitomo Nara
En/trance is a series of year-long art projects aimed at bringing visual art and interactive experiences into the institution's public spaces. To kick off the series, artist Yoshitomo Nara has created new works for Japan Society’s atrium garden: Miss Forest, a snow-white coated bronze sculpture, and ten petite ceramic works made in Shigaraki, one of the oldest places in Japan for pottery.
